Merry Memories Gala 2015

The first Aurora Public Library Foundation Gala was held on Nov. 14 in the Richard and Gina Santori Public Library of Aurora. Honorary chair and special guest was Dr. Gina Santori.  Attendees bid for silent auction items on their smartphones.

Donor Event – June 2015

A donor preview party was held at the Santori Library on June 12, two days before the library’s grand opening. Dr. Gina Santori was the guest of honor.

Grand Opening Celebration

The grand opening of the Richard and Gina Santori Public Library of Aurora was on June 14, 2015. More than 2,000 people attended. Entertainment was provided by The Ideas of March, Aurora Public Library Teen Talent Show winner San Sandberg, and The Town Band, as well as Simply Destinee dancers.

Parker and Children’s Gardens Grand Opening

Two gardens on the west side of the Santori Public Library were opened to the public on Aug. 15, 2015. One was The Parker Garden, specifically designed for those with memory loss issues and their caregivers, and the other was the Juvenile Protective Association Children’s Nature Garden.
